about me
I’m Maude Minnie Morris, a music producer and audio engineer. I create a calm, collaborative environment in the studio, focusing on helping artists capture performances that feel natural, intentional, and emotionally grounded. Originally from Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland) and now based in Naarm (Melbourne), I work behind the scenes shaping records that prioritise feel, clarity, and authenticity.
With over 10 years experience I’ve worn many hats across recording, production, and mixing on a wide range of projects. I stay hands-on throughout the process, from early tracking sessions to final mix decisions, and I’m known for bringing a steady presence and clear communication to every session. I’ve had the pleasure of working with music artists including Isla Noon, Jason Parker, Chaii, and Gin Wigmore, across contemporary pop, alternative, and artist-led projects where sound and emotion are closely intertwined. As well as non-music projects like audiobooks.
Before focusing fully on engineering and production, I was one half of the synth-pop duo LEXXA with my twin sister. Writing, performing, and producing my own music in that project gave me a deep understanding of the creative process, which I carry into every session I work on. I also stay connected to live music and performance, currently playing with the ARPA award-winning band LIPS, as well as being on stage with Jason Parker and Isla Noon.
